About the role:
Sirma is seeking a results-driven and strategic Sales Director to lead growth initiatives within the Transportation and Logistics vertical in the USA, UK or DACH Region. This senior leadership role is pivotal in designing and executing end-to-end sales strategies, building long-term strategic customer relationships, and expanding our market presence. You will report directly to the Senior Vice President and will work closely with cross-functional teams - Operations, Marketing, and Product - to deliver tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of exceeding targets, mentoring teams, and fostering strategic relationships with key accounts, particularly in complex B2B environments. A deep understanding of the Transportation & Logistics industry and the ability to identify and address client business needs are critical.

Your responsibilities
• Create, identify, and qualify new business opportunities
• Design and implement commercial strategies to achieve KPIs and grow the customer base
• Meet with clients to understand their business goals and needs
• Present value propositions to prospects through presentations and proposals
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
• Keep track of market fluctuations and industry-specific trends and establish sales strategies to navigate them successfully
• Exceed sales objectives for the assigned accounts and regions
• Report to upper management periodically and present to board members
• Grow the team’s performance
• Organize seminars and other sales training events for team members
• Identify emerging markets that may be beneficial to the company

Role's requirements
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience
• Experience and a strong network in the Transportation & Logistics industry
• Proven track record of delivering and exceeding targets
• An energetic hunter, eager to talk to new people daily
• Experience in creating sales and delivery plans from start to finish
• Experience in International markets (Europe & USA as a main focus)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Marketing, finance, supply chain, HR etc) to drive results
• Highly motivated and target-oriented self-starter with a “can-do” attitude
• Ability to pitch solutions and services and communicate with prospects, including C-level
• Strong leadership, negotiation and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, International Business or a related field
• Fluent in English; additional languages (German) are a plus
