Transact Functional Consultant

Location: 
Hybrid in EU, EEA, United Kingdom or USA. You will have the choice to work from our offices in the UK, Bulgaria or the US or from home office. Some assignments will require travel and onsite presence at clients’ offices.

Description: 
The Transact Functional Consultant will join our functional team and will work for our clients to help them to translate their business requirements into the most effective set-up, configuration and customisation of their core banking and digital front-end. 

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Advise clients and act as interface between business and IT;
• Analyse client business requirements and relate them to Temenos products capabilities;
• Contribute to the technical integration and customisation of banking software;
• Prepare and maintain Functional Specification Documentation, provide insight and clarifications to technical team;
• Prepare and deliver training courses to clients’ users and S&G’s junior team members;
• Support the testing activities by preparation of test scenarios documentation;
• Identify challenges during the implementation process and suggest changes and alternatives;
• Develop deep understanding in core banking modules related to card management and payments/ transactions.

Qualifications:
Five years or more banking professional experience comprising of at least two years of functional implementation experience on Temenos Transact.
Experience in some of the below functional areas:
• Temenos Payment Hub;
• Card Management integrations;
• Funds Transfer module;
• Delivery module;
• ISO 20022 messages.
Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent.
Written and spoken English mandatory. French, Spanish or German an advantage.
